Bio
Dr. Kristen Sandel is the Program Director at the newly accredited Emergency Medicine Program at Reading Hospital. She is also the Associate Director of Quality and Education of the Department of Emergency Medicine at Reading. Dr. Sandel is a former Trustee of the Pennsylvania Medical Society and a Past-President of the Berks County Medical Society. She has collaborated in geriatric trauma research and other geriatric quality initiatives. Dr. Sandel has also been active in the Warm Handoff program, specifically addressing the opioid crisis in Pennsylvania and around the country.
