Bio

Louise Rang is an Emergency Physician in Kingston, Ontario and an assistant professor at Queen's University. She completed a PoCUS fellowship at Advocate Christ Hospital, Chicago in 2004. Until 2018, she served as the EM Pocus director. Louise is a course developer and faculty member for the Canadian Association of Emergency Physicians' EDTU and EDTU X Ultrasound Courses which are delivered nationally. She is also a co-creator of the EDSonoshare.ca, which is a repository of free teaching materials (lectures, clips, assessment tools) for PoCUS education. Currently she is the Dept of Emergency Medicine's Professional Sustainability and Wellness Lead. Louise has a passion for slide design and presentation coaching.
