Bio

Dr. Feigofsky grew up in Queens, NY, the daughter of a police officer and a nurse/stay at home mom. After moving to Florida her senior year, she attending the University of Florida in Gainesville, FL. She was accepted into the accelerated medical school program after applying because she was told she “wasn’t smart enough”. Dr. Feigofsky completed her internship, residency, fellowship at Shands Hospital in Gainesville, FL. As a student, she received the AOA research award.

Dr. Feigofsky spent the first 10 years of her career in Orange County, California. There, she started an ICD support group at St. Joseph Hospital in Orange, CA and was then the co-director of arrhythmia services at Saddleback Memorial hospital in Laguna Hills, CA.
In 2013 she relocated to Iowa, to find a better balance of work and family life. Dr. Feigofsky currently works for the Iowa Heart Center located in Carroll, IA. She is a member of the Communications Committee for Heart Rhythm Society and is a founding member of CardiacInnovate.
