Bio

Dr. Tracy Madsen earned her undergraduate and medical degrees from Boston University and completed her residency in Emergency Medicine at Rhode Island Hospital. Additionally, Dr. Madsen completed a 2-year research fellowship with a focus on sex and gender differences in acute aspects of disease and earned a Master's degree in Clinical and Translational Research. Dr. Madsen is currently an Assistant Professor of Emergency Medicine in the Division of Sex and Gender in Emergency Medicine within the Department of Emergency Medicine at Alpert Medical School of Brown University.  She practices at both Rhode Island Hospital and the Miriam Hospital.
