Alexandra (Lexie) Asrow is an Emergency Medicine Board Certified attending physician in Emergency Medicine at NorthShore University Healthsystems, a teaching affiliate of the University of Chicago in the northern suburbs of Chicago. She completed her undergraduate studies at Brown University, medical degree at University of Illinois at Chicago, and residency training at Presence Resurrection in Chicago, IL. Her interests include teaching, medical communication, and International Emergency Medicine, which she integrated into her training with multiple international rotations in Emergency Departments in Europe and the Middle East. She was awarded a Fulbright Scholarship to Italy in 2006, and currently serves as the American College of Emergency Physicians Ambassador to Italy. Outside of the ED, she enjoys studying languages, drawing, playing guitar in a local garage band in Chicago, and performing solo as a professional harpist.
