Dr. Anita Rohra is the director of simulation for the department of emergency medicine at Baylor College of Medicine (BCM). She obtained her medical degree from SUNY-Downstate in 2010 and completed her emergency medicine residency at NYPQ in 2013. She completed an emergency ultrasound fellowship at BCM in 2014 and began her career as emergency ultrasound faculty, pursuing a niche in ultrasound simulation. Her talent in this role was recognized by department leadership and morphed into her position as director of simulation. Dr. Rohra is also the lead faculty for diversity and inclusion for the department of emergency medicine. Her interests include debriefing, procedural simulation, resuscitation communication, point of care ultrasound, diversity, and bias.
