Cristina Zeretzke-Bien, M.D., F.A.A.P., F.A.A.E.M. F.A.C.E.P, is board-certified in general pediatrics and pediatric emergency medicine. Dr Zeretzke studied at Tulane University in New Orleans for her general pediatric residency and completed her pediatric residency training at UF Health in Gainesville, Florida. She then completed her fellowship training in pediatric emergency medicine at the University of Florida in Jacksonville. She earned her medical degree at St. George's University in the West Indies. She is currently the Assistant Medical Director of pediatric emergency medicine at UF Health in Gainesville, Florida and is also a physician director of quality improvement. She has special interests in the areas of child abuse, pediatric trauma, and disaster preparedness. She is an advocate for women's health issues and specifically in the areas such as domestic violence, sexual assault, and human trafficking.
