Devjani graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine and went on to complete her emergency medicine residency at New York-Presbyterian Queens (previously New York Hospital Queens) in Flushing, NY. She also completed her postgraduate emergency ultrasound fellowship at NY-Presbyterian Queens. She has been at Staten Island University Hospital since then where she is currently a Clinical Assistant Professor and the Associate Director and Co-Fellowship Director of Emergency Ultrasound. She has an interest in ultrasound education and international emergency ultrasound and is currently the co-chair of the SAEM Academy of Emergency Ultrasound International Subcommittee. She has been involved with the SAEM Academy of Women in Academic Emergency Medicine since 2013 where she has served as the Co-chair of the E-Communications Subcommittee. She is also a contributing author and editor of the AWAEM Awareness Newsletter.
