Devjani graduated from Drexel University College of Medicine and went on to complete her emergency medicine residency at New York Presbyterian/Queens (previously New York Hospital Queens) in Flushing, NY. She also completed her postgraduate emergency ultrasound fellowship at NY Presbyterian/Queens. She has been at Northwell Health-Staten Island University Hospital since then where she is currently an Assistant Professor and the Director of the Division of Diversity and Inclusion within the ED. She also has an interest in ultrasound education and international emergency ultrasound. She has been involved with the SAEM Academy of Women in Academic Emergency Medicine since 2013. She is also a contributing author of the AWAEM Awareness Newsletter.
