Janelle obtained her BS in Biochemistry and then her Masters of Science in Chemistry from Worcester Polytechnic Institute. She worked as a research chemist, until she decided that she could make more of a difference as a doctor. Not to be intimidated by returning back to the classroom, she obtained her MD from Tufts University and stayed in Massachusetts for her OB/GYN residency. However she fell in love with Female Pelvic Medicine and Reconstructive Surgery and completed her fellowship at The Christ Hospital/University of Cincinnati. She is double board certified in OB/GYN & FPMRS. She has extensive publications, presentations, and even patents.
