Marianne Haughey, MD, FAAEM is a lifelong New Yorker. She has had the pleasure of a very long career at Jacobi but after 20 years of being an attending and filling many roles along the way, she is looking forward to the excitement of moving to become the Emergency Medicine Residency Program Director at St. Barnabas in the Bronx. As the mother of two and wife of one very special man who stayed home with the children for 17 years, she has had time to consider many life/ work balance issues. Others in the home include her 2 adopted dogs, a lizard and 2 fish who survived a carnival 3 years ago and surprise us each day with their longevity. She loves exercising and reading, both of which she doesn’t do nearly enough.
