Teresa is the Residency Program Director and Clinical Assistant Professor at SUNY Downstate/ Kings County Hospital. Her interests include adult education, particularly focusing on themes of Teaching the Teacher and innovative ways to provide medical education. Her teaching goals are to structure education through non-traditional mediums that allows for mobile curriculums, and gears learning for technically advanced learners in a self-study model. Teresa's community service work has fostered my interest in health disparities. Her ultimate goal is to develop a clinical health disparities research center in Central Brooklyn, in an effort to identify and address gaps in the health related services for medical underserved populations.
