Trudi is a second-year resident in the Department of Emergency Medicine at NYU/Bellevue. Born and raised in Texas, she is a bit of a transplant to the northeast after having spent boarding school and college in the area. After several years abroad in graduate school at Oxford studying sports medicine (and some time entertaining her wanderlust), she came to back to the US lured by the dream of studying and training at Bellevue Hospital. After six years in New York, she feels like the city has finally gotten into her blood and can’t imagine leaving. Her interests within emergency medicine include medical education, ultrasound, and quality improvement. Outside of the hospital, Trudi loves to travel off the beaten track with her camera and journal close at hand.
