A proud Nepali-American, Dr. Khatri grew up primarily in Silver Spring, Maryland. She received an undergraduate degree in Political Science from Davidson College in North Carolina and then attended George Washington University for medical school where she completed the “Community Health” track. She is currently a fourth year resident and chief resident at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania. She was recently elected Chief Resident for the upcoming year. Her interests include health care disparities, the health needs of socially vulnerable populations and resident wellness and mentorship. She also enjoys creative writing.
