In her FIX17 talk, Dr. Eve Purdy explores the intersection of her study of anthropology and her practice of emergency medicine.  She explains that anthropology is the study of culture, or the abstract set of beliefs and values that lie behind a group of people.  The ED is run by a group of people, therefore, we have our own culture!  Check out the video of her FIX17 talk and read her reflections on her FIX17 experience here.
